Andy is a veteran of the QSR industry with a proven track record of success. In 1979, Andy began his career as the founder of the Penguin Deli, which grew to five locations throughout the Chattanooga area. In the latter part of 1982, Andy joined Franco, Inc. a Hardee’s Food System Franchisee based out of Cleveland, Tennessee. As the company experienced rapid growth, Andy was promoted to Senior Vice President, overseeing all aspects of the daily operations for the restaurants and the support center. He also worked closely with his management team to incorporate 4 Mrs. Winner’s and 5 Chesapeake Bagel Bakery concepts into the parent company. Andy’s tenure with Franco, Inc. spanned 18 years. In August of 2000, Andy joined the senior management team at Grand Star, LLC,  overseeing operations of 112 Hardees’s Restaurants.

 In June 2002, Andy joined MVP Sonic Group as the Senior Vice President of Operations. Since joining with MVP, Andy has used his vast experience to help grow the business to what it is today. He now holds the position of President and oversees the daily operations of the company.  Andy has also served several terms on the Sonic Franchise Advisory council task groups. Andy has one daughter, Tiffany, and one granddaughter, Vivian. When he isn’t riding his Harley on a nice day, you can find him spending his free time hunting.
