Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Assumes full responsibility for operations, training and development of all Partners/General Managers and employees within multiple Sonic Drive-ins; including the execution of all policies, programs and systems, including the Sonic Operations Manual. Creates and maintains an “Employer of Choice” environment.
Education and Training:
High School education or equivalent required. Advance studies in business, restaurant management, or related field preferred.
Three (3) years proven experience as a Working Partner/General Manager with sales and profit responsibility of a single restaurant. Three (3) years Multi-unit supervision experience and advanced studies in business, restaurant management or related experience are preferred.
Thorough knowledge and understanding of restaurant or retail operations. General knowledge of functional support areas, including Human Resources, Training, Marketing, Finance, Payroll and Point of Sale Systems. Leadership and supervisory practices and skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Basic accounting skills. Computer Skills (knowledge of Microsoft Office; Internet Explorer). Leadership,decision-making, organizational and conflict resolutions skills.
