Stefanie McClain Fairly
Stefanie McClain Fairly has been around SONIC all of her life. In fact, some of her earliest memories include preparing onion rings, stacking cheese, standing on crates to reach the drink fountain, and walking out with carhops to hand out mints. Later in high school, Fairly wrote and produced the monthly newsletter, and worked summers at the office for the MVP SONIC GROUP. After graduating from Belhaven University, Fairly became a full time member of the MVP SONIC GROUP family as the Marketing Director in January 2007.
Representing SONIC is a way of life for Fairly. She is actively involved in the community by showing schools, churches, and non-profits the emphasis SONIC puts on giving back to the community it serves. Fairly has served as an ambassador for the Metro-Jackson Chamber of Commerce and on the Woman’s Auxiliary of the Red Cross of Mississippi.
After working as Marketing Director from 2007 to 2014, she became Vice President of the MVP SONIC GROUP. She works closely with the executive committee on projects, reporting and other assignments.
Stefanie and her husband Daniel Hendrick Fairly, Jr., have two children: Knox McClain Fairly and Jane Graham Fairly. The Fairly’s are members of the First Presbyterian Church of Jackson.
Regional Vice President of Operations
Mike Beacham has been in the restaurant business for 33 years. His first job was at McDonald’s, where he worked for two different franchise owners for a total of 22 years. He has held all positions at McDonald’s including: Crew, Maintenance, Crew Training, Assistant Manager, Store Manager, Supervisor, Training Director, and Director of Operations.
With all his success, his dream was to be an owner/operator. He got his opportunity in 2007 when he was a partner in a fast-casual restaurant for three years. Notable achievements in Beacham’s career includes the expansion from five restaurants to 21, winning the award for Franchisee of the Year in 2008, and having one of his locations became the highest volume unit within the company.
In May of 2011, Mike left to join the MVP SONIC GROUP. Since his start at MVP, he has worked as the Director of Operations and has since been promoted to the Regional Vice President of the North Division and is responsible for 40 stores.
Beacham is married to Denise. They have one son, Alex, who recently got married in May of 2017 to Rachel Cruse. His hobbies include spending time with his family, fishing, Alabama football, and hunting with his son. The Beacham family are members of Colonial Height Baptist Church, where Mike is involved in the Audio/ Visual Ministry.
Regional Vice President of Operations
Jason McNeill began his career in the quick service restaurant industry working part time in 1990 while attending college. Upon graduating with a BSBA from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1993, he accepted a full time position with West Quality Food Service, Inc., based in Laurel, Miss., a Kentucky Fried Chicken franchisee. They operated 67 restaurants.
Working his way up through the ranks, McNeill achieved the position of Senior Director of Operations, overseeing all aspects of the day-to-day operation of 31 restaurants.
In 2004, Jason accepted the position of Director of Operations and became an equity partner with another KFC franchisee, Hannon’s Food Service in Jackson, Miss.
Throughout his career with KFC, McNeill served on numerous operations, marketing, and product development committees with the KFC brand. He also served as a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors for the Association of Kentucky Fried Chicken Franchisees in the Southeast US. In total, he was employed in the KFC system for nearly 24 years.
McNeill joined the MVP SONIC GROUP in October 2013 as Regional Vice President of Operations in the Southern District and is responsible for 59 stores. He is married to Teresa McNeill and has two children, Caden and Kaitlyn. He and Teresa enjoy family and spending time following Southern Miss athletics.
Debbie Porter, SPHR
Director of Human Resources
Debbie Porter began her human resources career in 1980 at General Cable Company. While working for General Cable, she completed her BA in Psychology from Mississippi State University in 1985. Porter went to work for McCarty Farms as an employment manager and was subsequently promoted to personnel director of the Wilmington Street facility. She continued in that position after Tyson Foods, Inc. bought the company.
Porter resigned in 1999 to home school her children through their middle school years. During that time, she began working part-time for the MVP SONIC GROUP. In August 2002, Porter became the Human Resource Director.
She is a certified Senior Human Resource Professional and a member of Society of Human Resources Management and the Capital Area Human Resources Association. She serves on the Greater Jackson Advisory Board of the Capital River Chapter of the American Red Cross.
Although Debbie has officially been employed with SONIC since 2000, she has been a “SONIC wife” for much longer. Her husband, Barry, has been a partner with the MVP SONIC GROUP for more than 25 years. They live in Brandon and are members of Crossgates Baptist Church where Debbie enjoys singing in the choir. They have three children; Jason, Michael and Rachel and one granddaughter, Brianna.
